GWYD SETS A NEW WORLD RECORD!!

On May third of 2008, at the Super Happy Funtime Burlesque show, Gwyd the unusual set the initial world record for snapping the most mousetraps on his tongue in one minute. In a state of mind that could only be described as idiotic, Gwyd managed to snap 19 Victor Mousetraps on his tongue in one minute. This record is being submitted to the Record Holders Republic (As it was turned down by the Guinness book of World records for being too dangerous) and he should be appearing in the next edition of their book.

When asked about how the stunt went, Gwyd replied.

"I am justht tho gladth ith over."

Sylver in the sky!

For a little over a year now, Sylver has been working on her Aerial skills...This summer a few select venues will be lucky enough to see the fruits of those labors! Pulling herself up almost 20 feet into the air on hanging fabric, she will dazzle you with her amazing acrobatics, sometimes even plunging towards the earth to be caught only by her ankles.

Her public premiere on the silks came in October when she participated in the Worldwide Escape Artist Relay. She climbed the silks and did an astonishing routine (With some amazing off the ground splits, her ankles twisted around the silk cloth). When she was warmed up, her wrists were bound with Police issue riot cuffs (Really heavy duty zip ties-The type that you need to dislocate your thumb to get out of), she grasped the cloth between her ankles and dove towards the ground! Hanging upside down by her feet, she managed to shed the riot cuffs and climb back up to safety. .

People we have gotten to meet!!

This is one of our proudest pictures- Gwyd and Sylver with the lovely Dorothy Dietrich...The First Lady of escapes and a curator of the Houdini Museum in Scranton PA. It was an honor to participate in the Worldwide Escape Artists Relay with such performers as her for company!

At the 2007 Sideshow Gathering, Sylver got to help out the incredible Dr. Wilson with his sword ladder routine! Those blades were sharp!

At the Elgin Il Fairy Festival 2007, we got a visit from Legendary Magician De Yip Loo ( Number one Chinese Magician!) and his insanely talented musical daughter Frances Mai Ling! It was one of the few shows where we were actually nervous. He really liked the show, and hopefully we will see them again soon!
